Travel vaccination information can be found on the NHS fit for travel (http://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/destinations.aspx) public access website. This provides general information about the vaccinations that may be required. However, you should discuss your specific needs with us as individual risk may depend on the duration of your visit, the nature of the planned activities, the time of the year and any medical conditions that you may have.
Please attend 4-6 weeks prior to travel to complete a course of vaccines. If you only require a booster, then 14 days is usually sufficient. For Yellow Fever, the vaccination is required at least 10 days prior to travel.
You will be seen by our travel-specialist pharmacist who has extensive experience in travel health and vaccinations.
Please bring any information about previous vaccinations with you and the details of your itinerary. If possible, please fill in our assessment form (link to PDF form) prior to arrival.
Our travel pharmacist will assess your itinerary, vaccination history, past and present health and recommend a vaccination schedule and antimalarial tablets where needed. General travel health advice is also provided to ensure you have a safe trip.
